NEW YORK, NY, January 28, 2012
/24-7PressRelease/ -- In just a few short days, the fashion industry will set its sights on New York City. The 2012 Korean Preview in New York (KPNY) is a two-day event held on February 1st and 2nd that will feature the Spring/Summer 2013 collections from over 50 leading Korean textile and fabric manufacturers. Visitors will get a firsthand glimpse at the latest trends and textile designs from Korea before anyone else in the world.
The event is designed to foster partnership opportunities between U.S. buyers and Korean fabric and textile manufacturers. Strategic partnerships are created thanks to high-quality, competitively priced textiles made newly available to the U.S. market.
"Over the past 9 years, we've hosted 16 KPNY shows with great success. Each year, the shows get bigger and bigger thanks to the many great partnership opportunities it presents for U.S. buyers and leading Korean fabric manufacturers," explains Sungpil Um, President of KOTRA North America Head Office(Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency). "You can expect to see the hottest fabric and textile innovations from Korea put proudly on display during this exciting two-day event."
KPNY has a proven track record of creating lasting partnerships between U.S. buyers and Korean fabric and textile manufacturers. With the effectuation of Korea-U.S. FTA (Free Trade Agreement) in early 2012, the border tariff burden will be largely relieved for international business and trade, creating better opportunities for profitable trading between the U.S. and South Korea.
"We're eagerly looking forward to introducing U.S. buyers and luminaries from the textile industry to the leading Korean textile and fabric manufacturers," says Sungpil Um.
Admission to this event is free, but space is limited, so those interested in going are encouraged to register now so they don't miss out on these exciting business development opportunities.
