In this position, she will be in charge of preparing individual and small business tax returns. Prior to joining the firm, von Kolen worked in both public and industry accounting positions. Von Kolen brings more than eight years of experience in the accounting industry and six years of experience in tax to her new position.
Von Kolen obtained a bachelor's of science in accounting and a master's degree in taxation from Arizona State University. She is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA). Additionally, von Kolen is a Treasurer of the Archway Veritas Parents Organization and makes meals for the "Meals for Moms" program through St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. A native of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., she resides in Phoenix with her husband and six children.
