Prior to her retirement, Alice L. Deliman gained an impressive 20 years of professional experience in the education field where she specialized in developing lesson plans for first through third-grade students. She notes that she became involved in her profession due to the encouragement she obtained from her pastor's wife as well as the inspiration she received from her cousin, who was a teacher. Hard work, dedication and top-notch learning skills are the keys to Deliman's success. In recognition of her accomplishments, she received numerous teaching awards. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburg and is a member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross and the Arcadia Travelers Club. Currently enjoying retirement, she spends her time walking, traveling and visiting the Arcadia Community Center.
