    BELLEROSE, NY, March 26, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Alice R. Christy is a multi-faceted individual who has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her various endeavors.

Firstly, with an impressive background that spans 40 years of professional experience as a singer, actor and owner/teacher of ALICE CHRISTY VOICE BUILDING, PIANO, SPEECH and ACTING, she has performed in dramatic and musical theatre, television and movies, and taught all ages, including teachers, aspiring actors/singers, Wall Street professionals, and people with speech challenges and accents.

Secondly, Ms. Christy is the Founder and Artistic Director of WISE & WITH IT PRODUCTIONS, INC., an organization dedicated to senior union rank and file entertainment professionals. WWIPI gives them the opportunity to show their talents and capabilities to those who hire in the industry, as well as entertain in the community. She recently presented three original one-act plays written, directed and acted by seniors. Her curiosity, inner needs, hard work, training, practice, determination and talent have been and continue to be the driving forces behind her success.

Her training spans both coasts, studying voice and piano privately, and attending acting schools. She majored in Music and English at Los Angeles City College and Marymount College (BA), with graduate study, in same, at the University of California at Los Angeles (Roger Wagner & Jan Popper) and Music Composition/Spanish at the University of Southern California. In addition, she is a Board member of the New York Coalition of Professional Women in the Arts and Media, and maintains long-time memberships in Screen Actors' Guild, Actors' Equity Association, American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Mu Phi Epsilon. She has also studied acting at HB Studios, New York Film Actors, Bob Colliers, SAG and Video Associates.
