Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of accounting.
Throughout her career, Ms. Laursen has cultivated an expertise in accounting and property management. As the owner of her own accounting and property management firm, she is responsible for overseeing finance, maintaining records, billing, bookkeeping, accounting and assisting widows, real estate brokers and attorneys. She specializes in providing accounting services for individuals and small businesses, assisting them in paying their bills.
Ms. Laursen is involved in horse rescue in Northern California and hopes to one day start a foundation dedicated to the cause. She considers her greatest career achievement to be obtaining her CPA and keeps current with the trends in her profession by reading trade publications and journals and continuing her training. The most important issue facing the accounting industry, she feels, is customer service and the sensitivity of the subject of money.
In addition to being a CPA, Ms. Laursen received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Jose State University in 1983. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, she hopes to earn her license in property management and would like to build good relations with people who rescue and maintain horses. She attributes her success to her passion for her profession.
