This compact Gen 2 RFID reader/writer, model 216010, is compatible with both EPC Class1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 Protocols and operates in the UHF band of 860 to 960 MHz. It has a built-in antenna and offers a read range of up to 15 m. Its RF output power can be adjusted through the software from 0 to 30 dB. Communication interfaces including RS232, RS485, Wiegand 26/34 are available. With ABS housing, it performs well even in harsh environments.
This long range Gen 2 RFID reader/writer belongs to GAO's family of 900 MHz UHF RFID readers. The line includes a wide variety of RFID readers to meet customers' different needs. Some featured products in this line include UHF 902 MHz Gen 2 Portable Handheld RFID Reader Writer, 902 MHz RFID Gen 2 UTE Portable Reader Writer and Rugged Handheld Terminal RFID Reader.
