BOSTON, MA, March 24, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amen Alibi takes pride in announcing the release of their second album, Addicted on Ravaka Records, with an indie rock concert at Live from Center Stage in Cape Cod on March 29, 2014, at 8 p.m. Eastern time. This concert will also be broadcast live on Comcast and available on HD DVD after the event, giving viewers from all over the country access to these new alternative rock tunes. The concert will be held at The Dennis Port Community Media Center, 17 Shad Hole Road, Dennis Port, MA, for Boston and Fall River, MA, Providence, and Newport, RI, New London, CT, Concord, NH, and the surrounding New England areas. The Addicted debut concert also serves as the kick-off for an Amen Alibi tour.

Band founder, Rick Couture, states, "This album (Addicted) was so much fun to record and felt so right. I'm so glad it's being well received by the fans and all the kind people who hand out awards...lol." Mr. Couture is excited about the upcoming album release and concert and anticipates a warm reception to this follow-up album to their debut album, Leap of Faith, which was released in July 2013 and is currently ranked number three on ReverbNation's Rock Chart.

Mr. Couture has more than 30 years of music experience, working with other alternative rock bands, including Blue Movie and Creek Alley, and is currently the lead singer and guitarist for Amen Alibi. He works directly with co-founder Johnny Sousa, who plays lead guitar, keyboard, and harp for the band. Mr. Sousa is thrilled with the creation of Addicted, saying, "Two things. The first is the excitement level for me is off the charts! Also, it's great to see the music speak for itself and climb the charts." These two men work in conjunction with a number of Berkley student and graduate back-up musicians to create their unique alternative rock sound.

Indie rock band, Amen Alibi, has recently founded the Free the Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization that benefits at-risk children living in the United States. The foundation aims to provide funding to music organizations in particular, helping these at-risk children stay off the streets with music and other activities to enrich their lives. Half of the proceeds from the sales of their latest album, Addicted, will go directly to organizations that can further this foundation's goals.

Amen Alibi recently won the "Best Song" award from the Akademia Music Awards for Go Some More from Addicted. They have also won "Well Written Original Song" in 2013 from Beat100 for their song, I'm Dying, from the Leap of Faith album. Addicted is currently in the running for one of three spots to play live at the Americana Music Association Music Festival, held in Nashville in September. The winners will be announced on June 26. The band will also be recording a music video for their new song, Break Down and Cry, to accompany the Addicted album launch.
