The AmOne team selected Hollie's entry as the winner. The judging was based on the creativity, originality, and the content of her video message, the message delivery itself, and its entertainment value.
In her video entry, Hollie told viewers about finding her husband, Josh, about his passion for art, and of his love for her and their three children, Chey (aged 16), Ethan (aged 12)., and Tabs (aged 10). Their story, combined with Josh's original artwork and Hollie's gentle humor, convinced the AmOne team to name Hollie Lemons as the 2013 winner.
AmOne created the contest to make things easier for this Valentine's Day by providing an interactive alternative to the traditional greeting cards and flower arrangements by thinking outside of the box of chocolates, as well as a financial bonus for the winner of the contest. The contest prize, awarded to Hollie Lemons, is a $250 American Express Gift Card.
This year is the inaugural for AmOne's Valentine's Day video contest. Eligible videos were posted to AmOne's social media properties on Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and YouTube, and to the company's blog. Hollie Lemons was informed of her win via telephone and was sent the gift card via express delivery.
