With many years of practiced experience in her field, Ms. D'Angelo holds a unique set of qualifications that allow her to excel in her position with Health Partners Plans, which provides health care services, specializing in Medicaid issues. Utilizing her expertise in medical management, she oversees medically-appropriate services for members in the local community. Ms. D'Angelo is also responsible for developing strategic, operational and tactical business plans to achieve the desired business goals for responsible units, as well as reviewing and directing service operations performance to meet and exceed corporate and divisional goals. In order to ensure the continued excellence of health care operations, Ms. D'Angelo develops strategies aimed at fostering delivery of high-quality patient care in a cost-effective manner. She also participates in state and local initiatives for the improvement of member services as it pertains to the continuum of care. Ms. D'Angelo reviews overall medical spending for trends and seeks out opportunities to ensure appropriate resource management and identify cost savings initiatives. In addition, she develops programs to reduce unnecessary resources and improve quality of care.
Ms. D'Angelo became involved in her profession because she wanted to be a nurse since she was a child. She went to college to pursue her dream, earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Holy Family University. She began in the field in critical care at a local teaching hospital. Eventually, she moved into critical care intervention and then case management. Recently, she has been inducted into Worldwide Branding for excellence in her field. In the near future, Ms. D'Angelo intends to evolve in her position.
