Anthony Santo Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Construction

    LAKESIDE, CA, August 7, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anthony Santo, Vice President of Westfield, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in construction.

Mr. Santo's desire to follow in the footsteps of his family members drove him to pursue a career in construction. He has accrued 20 years of experience in this field and is an expert in structural and mechanical systems. Mr. Santo began working with Westfield, a retail property group, in 1996 as a site clerk, and he has since advanced to the role of regional vice president of construction. He is responsible for working on preconstruction and predevelopment and overseeing active work. He has worked on several major projects, including on the redevelopment of regional shopping centers within San Diego County and airport concession programs nationwide.

Mr. Santo received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineer technology and construction management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1997. He is an LEED accredited professional and a safety trained supervisor. Along with these credentials, he is a qualified storm water professional and a certified inspector for soil erosion control. Mr. Santo is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the U.S. Green Building Council. Additionally, he has been honored as an Eagle Scout. He attributes his success to his hard work and dedication, and looks forward to expanding his knowledge and exposure to the areas of safety and environmental risk. He hopes to combine his prior knowledge with his acquired construction skills to better incorporate and integrate his talents.
