SCARBOROUGH, ONTARIO, CANADA, February 14, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nina Park, Director of Application Development Services for Scotiabank, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in finance.
Ms. Park has 15 years of professional experience, having recently become a director of application development services for Scotiabank. Over the years, she has established herself as an expert in team leadership, banking, maintaining professional relationships, business analysis, and project delivery. On a daily basis, she is responsible for managing the infrastructure, application development and support of the customer contact center.
Looking back, Ms. Park attributes her success to her creativity and work ethic. She has the ability to resolve problems and quickly offer turnaround situations. She became involved in her profession because of her background in computer science. The highlight of her career was the implementation of an efficiency improvement project by managing application changes across different divisions of the bank. More than 15 internal applications were involved, including new vendor on-boarding which resulted in three new applications being created within one year. Ms. Park received a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Toronto. In years to come, Ms. Park would like to obtain a vice presidency position, and have more exposure in the banking industry.
