Arizona Physical Therapy Association Welcomes Executive Director Renee Lopata
The Arizona Physical Therapy Association (AzPTA) welcomes Renee Lopata, CAE to their team as the Executive Director in efforts to expand their reach and impact in the physical therapy industry.

    GILBERT, AZ, March 06, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Arizona Physical Therapy Association (AzPTA) welcomes Renee Lopata, CAE to their team as the Executive Director in efforts to expand their reach and impact in the physical therapy industry.

The Arizona Physical Therapy Association's was established in 1950 with the mission of representing and promoting physical therapist's role in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of movement dysfunctions to enhance the health and functional abilities of the communities in which they serve. "The APTA and AzPTA help to keep members updated on current research and advocacy issues, which facilitates the growth of our profession. Being involved in these organizations benefits both patients and the community," states District 1 Board Representative Paul Gagne, PT, DPT.

The Association offers physical therapists, physical therapy assistants and students of physical therapy educational and leadership opportunities, resources and networking events. The organization acts as advocates for the industry and interacts regularly with legislators to inform them on how to best represent the physical therapy industry.

With the addition of Ms. Lopata, the Association will be organizing efforts to reach, educate and provide resources to an even broader audience of physical therapists within all industries. Ms. Lopata has extensive experience working with Associations in Arizona and Illinois and most recently worked at the Tempe Chamber of Commerce as Senior Vice President.
