The event runs between August 5th and 8th 2010 on the paradise island, which is traditionally better known for its endless sandy beaches than the noise of squealing brakes and skidding tyres.

A number of different races are due to take place, including cross-country and endurance competitions, with the winners of each category set to pick up prizes of up to $5,000 (GBP3,400).
Datuk Malil Mydin, chief executive officer of Human Voyage, which is behind the event, said the island of Langkawi feels "honoured" to welcome biking enthusiasts from around the world to take part in the event.
Teams are expected to arrive on August 5th, with the racing action set to take place two days later.
