DEARBORN, MI, January 04, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Since his name appeared on the online business newspaper Crain's Detroit Business 40 Under 40 list back in 2009, Azzam Elder has felt that his legal career was watched with a careful eye by peers and clients alike. At the time of this award, Azzam Elder was an attorney working in an executive management role. Since this time, he has risen up through the ranks to become founder of his own firm, Halo-Bloom, LLC Business Advisors, and Investment Group. It seems all that scrutiny and expectation has paid off in more than a promotion, though, as this year Azzam Elder was named one of DBusiness's Top Lawyers of 2014.
DBusiness, a business journal for the Detroit area, took a poll of 18,200 lawyers in five neighboring counties: Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne. These lawyers were asked to name fellow attorneys who worked in any of 47 specialties for nomination for this award of being placed on DBusiness's list for 2014. DBusiness then made the final selection of about 850 lawyers.
Among those nominated was Azzam Elder
. His work in international business advisory for Halo-Bloom, LLC Business Advisors, and Investment Group, a group he founded to meet the need of businessmen seeking to expand abroad, was noted. However, it was for Azzam Elder's knowledge and attention to health care law that he was given this accolade from DBusiness.
Azzam Elder has spent years giving counsel to health care organizations, and physicians on the matter of expanding their practices. Doctors look to him to tell them where they can grow and how to stay within the federal regulations that restrict this growth. Recently, health care has seen many new restrictions added to their field, and so they turn once more to Azzam Elder to see to it that their work stays legal. Azzam Elder treats each of these clients with the care and respect one would expect a physician to give to his patients.
While 847 attorneys across the five Michigan counties were given this award, only 24 of these lawyers work in health care law, making Azzam Elder
's award all the more prestigious.
"It is such an honor to be listed among these other fine lawyers in the state of Michigan," Azzam Elder was quoted to have said upon hearing of his award, "These sorts of legal minds are needed everywhere, but particularly in health care, where the stakes are so high. Physicians need to have firm legal footing or else they will lose their practices, a hardship on all that they serve."
intends to continue to work hard at helping these worthy physicians stay legal in their practices. "It is my pleasure to work with these health care providers," Azzam Elder said, "I am glad to do some of their non-medical work for them so that they can focus on the important things, like keeping your children healthy."
It should also be noted that Azzam Elder
's alma mater, Michigan States University College of Law, was ranked number three in top law schools in the state of Michigan by this same poll.About:
