However, to poverty stricken nations these items are hard to come by. Azzam Elder, a well known lawyer and businessman, devotes his time to helping children in poverty. In 2013, Azzam Elder went to Nicaragua, with the Rotary Clubs of Dearborn and Houston, to work with "Children of the Dump."
Azzam Elder graduated with a BA degree from Michigan University in 1992. In 1995, he received his jurist doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law and also became a member of the Michigan Bar Association. Azzam Elder
is the founder and CEO of Halo-Bloom, LLC. Azzam Elder is a great business and legal mind, working with individuals nationally and around the world. Azzam Elder works internationally in areas such as Asia, the Middle East, and the pan of Africa.
Azzam Elder has always had a soft spot for helping children. "I just feel every child deserves a chance at life," explains Azzam Elder. "I would not want to think about how my life would be different without necessities." Azzam Elder contributes his success to education and hard work. Azzam Elder now knows how much necessities play a factor as well.
works with charities which provide food, healthcare, education and self-esteem to children that live in poverty. For example, Rotary International, provides suitable housing, employment and adult education for the families. Specifically, in Nicaragua, Rotary helps the "Children of the Dump" and surrounding communities by providing water, electricity, and sanitation.
Azzam Elder spent time in Nicaragua working with the children. "I've seen first hand how these children lived," Azzam Elder said sadly, "It broke my heart." Azzam Elder has seen things we can only imagine. Azzam Elder has seen children who have went days without food, in need of healthcare, and unable to read. Azzam Elder
has also seen how grateful these children are just to receive food or help with their education.
In the future, Azzam Elder plans to further his dedication to helping poverty stricken children. While he knows that positive change is important to the success of the community, he understands that the change can be slow moving. However, Azzam Elder
understands the impact, no matter how small it may be, can inspire other people to dedicate their time to helping worthy causes. Nothing is more worthy of Azzam Elder's time than helping children.About:
