Touched by a meeting with Max B. Tharpe when she was 22 years old, Ms. Morin decided to dedicate her professional life to immortalizing the photographer's work. She thus founded Honest Expressions, a message card company that creates cards and art out of photographs by Max Tharpe, accompanied by inspirational and Biblical sayings. Ms. Morin finds deep personal fulfillment in being able to encourage, inspire and bring joy to her customers and their loved ones, as well as spread the Gospel, provide Christian testimony and offer prayer support. Honest Expressions donates a significant portion of its proceeds to the Max B. Tharpe Charitable Foundation, a Christian foundation dedicated to helping fund world evangelism and practical Christian outreach ministries. Ms. Morin attributes her success to the grace of God.
Ms. Morin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and Biblical Studies from Trinity International University. A former member of the Society for Human Resource Management, she worked in the HR management field for 15 years prior to establishing her company. She names Compassion International as her favorite charity. A documentary about the life and photography of Max B. Tharpe along with a book series of his photos and the inspirational stories behind them are due for release in Spring 2010.
