As Senior Metering Specialist of Upstream Engineering with Origin Energy, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Mr. Richards has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Origin is the leading Australian integrated energy company, focused on gas and oil exploration and production, power generation and energy retailing. The company has significant power generation capacity and is responsible for around 13 percent of Australia's electricity generation, with 4.5 million customers in Australia. As an integrated energy company, Origin has diverse operations spanning across the energy supply chain.

Brian serves as the technical authority for all of Origin's metering assets. This includes metering on pipelines, processing facilities and well head metering devices. He is responsible for all metering design for Origin's Upstream Operations. During his collegiate career, Mr. Richards earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Electrical Endorsements as well as a Diploma in Adult Education. Brian is a member of the International Society of Automation.
