/24-7PressRelease/ -- This thirteen question survey was sent to over 31,000 Building Industry Professionals. Subject questions ranged from company's size, volume and industry trends. It reflects their second half results and projections for their business for the 2013 year. Respondents included Building Industry Product Manufacturers, Wholesalers, Kitchen & Bath Dealers, Private Equity Firms, Rep Agencies and Residential Home Builder's.
Since the last report, changes continue to take place. 84% of our respondents indicated an increase in revenue during the second half of 2012 and 88% have forecast an increase in revenue for the 2013 calendar year. 69% describe the current State of The Buildings Materials Industry as improving, up from 40% in the first half of 2012. The majority of respondents indicate they are relying on the remodeling/replacement market and the commercial market for the largest percentage of their business. Others have succeeded in a down market by creating Brand Image programs and expanding niche markets. While most see no change in overall staffing plans during the next 12 months, there were many indicating that there would be an increase in Sales/Marketing Executive staffing during that same time period.
