With 20 years of professional experience, Mr. Astrachan specializes in handling legal requirements and child abuse. He is responsible for overseeing security training, preparing and maintaining classification plans, testing, screening, coordinating activities, assisting in the formulation of policies concerning certified human resource issues and researches, and training teachers at the University of San Diego. He attributes his success to his dedication, determination and to the support he has received from his mother, Ms. Karen Astrachan.
Mr. Astrachan completed graduate studies in Education Administration at the University of La Verne and received his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Union Institute. He is a member of the California School Personnel Commissioners Association, the Association of California School Administrators, the Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team and the International Radio Club of America. In the future, he intends to become a human resource risk management administrator in a school district or at a corporate level. He earned teaching and administrative credentials from California Commission on Teacher Credentials (C.T.C). He is State Certified in "Train the Trainer" California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T). He graduated 97th in his class at the University of Southern California Deliquency Control Institute (U.S.I.C/ "D.C.I"), and received specialized training in "Child Welfare, Attendance and Safe Schools." He taught Classroom "Driver Education" since June of 1990 for Culver City Unified School District in Los Angeles County.
