/Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Barbara Ann Budinger, President of Educational Testing Methods, Inc., has been named
Cambridge Who's Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Testing Preparation. While inclusion in Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who's Who Entrepreneur of the Year. The Cambridge Who's Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, and leadership abilities.
Ms. Budinger has an impressive 48 years of professional experience, 29 of which have been as the president of Educational Testing Methods, Inc., a test preparation center for SAT and ACT exams. Considered an expert regarding standardized educational tests, she is responsible for writing curriculum and workbooks, hiring instructors, marketing and delivering educational presentations. Prior to establishing Educational Testing Methods, Inc., she worked as a school teacher and school counselor, and notes that she became involved in her profession after reading an article about educational centers reporting poor student performance with regard to entrance exams.
A published author, Ms. Budinger wrote ETM Preparation Course for SAT/ACT Exams, a work that boasts two volumes, a teacher's manual and a student workbook, each over 800 pages. Successfully marketing many national tutoring centers that have educated over 50,000 students is the highlight of her career. Hard work, determination and passion for her profession are the driving forces behind her success. She is particularly proud that she had the first test preparation center in Springfield, Illinois. She earned her Master of Education from Boston College and her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Illinois.
