Faulkner stands as the second administrator from Campbell Law to participate on the DRA board, following professor and former dean Melissa Essary, who served from 2009 to 2011.
A leader and champion for a dynamic and vibrant downtown, the DRA is a guiding force in shaping a healthy center that anchors the city and the region. A not-for-profit organization, the DRA builds private-public partnerships to address issues facing downtown Raleigh and manages downtown's Municipal Services District. Extremely active in the legal profession, Faulkner serves on many boards and on many bar related committees that include the American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar Annual Questionnaire Committee, North Carolina Bar Association's Professionalism Committee, the Wake County Bar Association's Professionalism and Public Service Committees, and the North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services Board, where he serves as treasurer.
