/24-7PressRelease/ - LOS ANGELES, CA, June 18, 2008 - Fat Free Film, the independent film internet hub, and Duly Noted Productions, headed by Effie Brown (the Indie Spirit Award Producer of the Year), are hosting the Canon "Bring It" 72 Hour Film Competion and will be at the Target Red Room of the Los Angeles Film Festival From the 19th to the 22nd during the Festival in Westwood, CA.
Members of Film Independent, the independent film organization, that have been in the Filmmaker Labs and Project Involve are eligible for the competition. Four will be chosen by random drawing on Wednesday, June 18th. They will get a brief instruction on the Canon HD Cameras and then they will be set loose on the film festival to make a short film. The short films will be shown on Monday night, June 13rd at the members party held in the Target Red Room, which is at 1027 Westwood Blvd. The winner will receive a state-of-the-art camera from Canon.
The short films are required to have the theme "Festival Stories" and will be shot entirely in the Westwood area. Fat Free Film will be broadcasting from it's website, some live streaming and some video blogs and interviews with the filmmakers and those at the festival. It is a great way to participate in the festival if you can't be there.
The Canon 72-Hour Film competition at the Los Angeles Film Festival, hosted by Fat Free Film and Duly Noted Productions, will be at the Target Red Room and netcast on the Fat Free Film website at http://www.fatfreefilm.com.
