The Carbflex OAC-20BB filter cartridge easily removes dissolved and dispersed oils in a broad range of applications, such as car and truck washes, machine and repair shops, auto service stations, oil and gas facilities, shipping bilge water, as well as surface water runoff at truck stops, airports and parking lots. Part of the Carbflex Series--Pentair's advanced line of carbon filtration technologies--the OAC-20BB filter cartridge provides time-efficient, high-performance filtration, and it can be utilized in standard 20-inch Pentair Industrial Big Blue filter housings.
The OAC-20BB filter cartridge features modified cellulose-based filter media construction for outstanding absorption, providing high flow rates and low pressure drop. The design allows the filter media to immediately chemically bond with hydrocarbons, absorbing up to 95% of the hydrocarbons in one pass. Additionally, the OAC-20BB filter cartridge can be utilized with other Carbflex Series cartridges, connected in series to deliver even lower hydrocarbon outlet levels. The OAC-20BB's specifically designed, high-capacity filter media makes certain that the cartridge can reliably contain 250 to 300% of its own weight in removed hydrocarbons, reducing time and costs connected with filter change-outs.
