Ms. Chong brings more than two decades of professional experience to her role as associate director of international partnerships at Victoria University, an esteemed educational institution based in Melbourne. She is responsible for the development of institutional partnerships with the aim of increasing inbound and outbound student mobility opportunities. Ms. Chong also leads international relations and the international scholarships and sponsored students programs at Victoria University. She attributes her success to staying current in the field and having great mentors.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Chong has managed areas such as international relations, international student recruitment, admissions, marketing, student services, compliance, market research, sponsorships, student mobility and international development projects. She is well versed in the complexities of working in the international education sector. Prior to joining Victoria University, Ms. Chong held positions at Griffith University, RMIT University and the Victorian Department of Education.

Ms. Chong holds a Master of Arts from Griffith University. She was recently inducted into Worlwide Branding and also serves as a board member of Victorian TAFE International. Looking toward the future, Ms. Chong intends to become the executive director of an international office.
