At 84 years old, Carolyn Hesser is currently teaching in her home, and has 69 years of professional experience. Ms. Hesser's expertise includes Chinese painting and porcelain art, and she attributes her success thus far to her love for porcelain.
In addition to teaching, Ms. Hesser creates cups and wall plaques for breast cancer causes, and is a breast cancer survivor. She has a piece on display at The World Organization of China Painters, in Oklahoma City, Okla., and hopes to continue teaching, consulting and serving as a judge at fairs in the future.
Ms. Hesser enjoys reading, gardening, traveling and needlepointing in her free time.
