About Life Experiences
Life Experiences was formed in 1978 by parents, teachers and concerned members of the community to create an opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to work, learn and socialize in a safe, supportive and caring environment. From the beginning, the mission has been to blend education, training and the free enterprise system to provide employment for adults with developmental disabilities and allow them to function as independent, productive citizens of the Triangle. At the same time those adults earn self-esteem from being paid a wage for their work. For more information, visit http://www.lifeexperiences.org
