- Portland, OR, May14, 2008, Catherine Nicewood, Music Director for the Rockwood United Methodist Church, has been recognized by
Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of music.
Ms. Nicewood has more than 39 years of professional experience in music and one year of experience as the music director for the Rockwood United Methodist Church. She is considered to be an expert in music and piano instruction. Her daily responsibilities include playing the piano, supervising the church organist and hand-bell players, coordinating the choir and composing church music.
In 1980, Ms. Nicewood received her Associate's Degree in Accounting, with a Minor in Music from Linn-Benton Community College, Albany. She attributes her success to her faith in God, hard work and dedication. In five years, Ms. Nicewood hopes to travel around the world to teach, preach and spread the word of God.
