Kicking off the tour will be a presentation at Ohio Northern University on the importance of social media in public relations and media relations. He will be speaking to the ONU chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Balderaz will take the floor a little after 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 4th.
The next event on the tour will be the Lunch & Learn Series: Igniting Word of Mouth on December 9, 2008. Balderaz will be the featured speaker at the luncheon and will discuss various topics around the subject of word of mouth and social media marketing. Among the topics that Balderaz will focus on are the importance of podcasts and video in online marketing campaigns and strategies for how to build a successful social media campaign. Webbed Marketing has had marked success in this area, having recently been recognized by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association for their efforts.
Shortly after the Igniting Word of Mouth event, Balderaz will be a featured speaker at the Search Engine Strategies 2008 Conference & Expo. This event is the only major Search Marketing Conference and Expo in the Midwest and is one of the largest online marketing events in the industry every year. Balderaz will focus on the benefits of blogging for business, using examples from his own online marketing blog.
