Cheryl L. Hrudka Honored by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Art

    TUCSON, AZ, March 20, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cheryl L. Hrudka, Co-Owner of Recent Developments, LLC, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in art.

Ms. Hrudka has been a professional photographer for more than 20 years, during which time she has won several awards in various photographic competitions. She co-founded her business, Recent Developments, LLC, in 1998. The same year, one of her photographs was published in the Arizona Daily Star. Ms. Hrudka specializes in abstracts, landscapes and photographs of architecture. She also focuses on still lifes, street photography and portraits. Additionally, she works in mixed media and creates new abstract images. Ms. Hrudka's photography is intimate; inviting the viewer in is important to her. She feels it is imperative that each person consign their own version of events, and their own stories, to each photograph.

At Recent Developments, LLC, Ms. Hrudka does the literal and mental heavy lifting in addition to creating art. This includes printing and matting photographs, handling purchasing, and overseeing marketing; in essence, running the company. Ms. Hrudka became involved in her profession because she was always surprised at the lack of positive imagery on the walls when she worked in the health care industry. After leaving the health care industry, she wanted to use her images to enhance the surroundings of others who work in often sterile and cold environments. She has achieved this goal, with the company's works of art adorning the walls of homes, businesses and health care facilities worldwide. Ms. Hrudka earned a bachelor's degree in English from Colorado Women's College in 1971. She is a former member of Women In Photography International, the Professional Photographers Association and The University of Arizona's art board. In the future, Ms. Hrudka strives to continue to grow and expand her horizons. She aspires to give others images that they will enjoy for a long time.
