ROWLAND HEIGHTS, CA, January 07, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Looking for ways to make Chinese New Year parties fun for everyone? Have games and contests for kids as the community celebrates Chinese New Year. An online Chinese bookstore for kids has released its newest section on Chinese games.

ChildBook.com formally released today the Chinese Games section for kids.
It contains ten games usually played in China and Taiwan. First batch of featured games are : Da Fong Chui (a game similar to Simon Says), Luo Bu Dun, Shan Dian Didi, Chinese Tag and more.

Instructions are downloadable and free.

Ray Ritchey of ChildBook says the site provided games instruction for the children because "Kids learn Chinese words faster when they are having fun, and with a group of other children, compared to the usual rote learning. These games also give the children a feel of what kids from China and Taiwan play."

Teachers, homeschooling parents and families may also use ChildBook's other free teaching resources to make the Chinese New Year celebration enjoyable for the children. Families may download crafts projects, coloring pages featuring Chinese New Year celebrations and wall and door greetings. Lesson plans for Chinese New Year have also been added for teachers and homeschooling parents. There are also enjoyable books and DVDs about Chinese New Year that may be purchased from the bookstore.

ChildBook.com provides products that help parents and teachers make learning Chinese effective for kids, such as books, videos, music and software.
