After completing a Bachelor of Science in graphic design at Bob Jones University, Chris A. Hartwick was offered a position as designer with creative services for the university. In his position, he creates advertisements and layouts for catalogs and magazines. With a penchant for accuracy and detail orientation, he also designs print materials to promote video products. Mr. Hartwick is the recipient of the Art Excellence Award from Cambridge Who's Who, as well as the second place award in realistic mixed media and third place distinction in realistic drawing at Piedmont Interstate Fair Art Competition.
Using ballpoint pen, gouache, and water color, Mr. Hartwick has also become a proficient painter. Aside from his beautiful imagery and creative work, Mr. Hartwick's art is especially impressive because he uses his mouth to create it. In 1997, he was accepted into the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (A.M.F.P.A.) organization which assists disabled artists to become more self-sufficient. To date, he has had seven art pieces published through the A.M.F.P.A. and has had several of his paintings published on greeting cards.
