Cambridge Who's Who
/Cambridge Who's Who/ - La Mesa, CA, June 4, 2008, Christine Pugh, Technical Writer and Electronic Tech Teacher, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the
Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in technical training. Cambridge Who's Who is committed to providing professional networking services and recognizing the achievements of executives and professionals worldwide.
As a technical writer and electronic tech teacher, Ms. Pugh's areas of expertise includes troubleshooting computers, instructing electronics courses, editing technical translations and technical writing. Her responsibilities include teaching electronics and mathematics. She also worked as a laser and optical technician for CVI Corp., Coherent Corp. and Wavefront Sciences, Inc.
Ms. Pugh was a VISTA volunteer and built a senior center and bi-lingual pre-school. She worked for Digital Equipment Corp at Compaq Computers for six years and assembled, tested and repaired conferencing phones at Polycom for two years. She also worked for the Hat Creek Radio Observatory at the University of Berkley of California as an electronic technician.
In addition to receiving a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and Spanish at the University of New Mexico in 1973, Ms. Pugh also completed two years of coursework in Astrophysics in 1977. In 1985, she received her Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from Central New Mexico Community College in Albuquerque, NM. Ms Pugh was a volunteer fundraiser for the The Commemorator Publication, where she became skilled in desktop publishing.
