The new software release adds ease-of-use enhancements that help to speed user review of content and streamline regulatory data for customized corporate and site-level compliance. Citation will be showcasing Citation Build 3.2 at the upcoming 2013 EHS and Sustainability Software Conference on February 26-27th in Charlotte, NC.
Citation Build 3.2 Key Enhancements
• The new Content Schedule feature allows users to view all of their subscription content, by country, state, or region, and also the date and time of the most recent regulatory update. Content updating schedules vary, dependent mostly upon the country, state, or region's governing bodies and their release schedule(s).
• The addition of Content Exclusion, this feature is a step beyond the existing Qualifying Question feature and allows users to "customize" the regulatory data set to their 'type' of operations, company, line of business, etc. Previously, answering the qualifying questions expedited the review process and let users avoid large groups of potentially 'not applicable' regulations. Now with the new Content Exclusion feature, users can review the regulatory content of an entire jurisdiction (e.g. U.S. Federal, state, etc.) and "exclude" laws and regulations that do not apply to their entire company, or even an individual facility.
• Version 3.2 adds other features aimed at giving users the individual capability to further customize the review process and control regulatory data. For example, Citation Build's enhanced Update or "Versioning" features help to keep the review updated and evergreen with current regulations - a crucial aspect in achieving and maintaining compliance. Users are now offered greater flexibility regarding the regulatory information that can be updated within a review. For example, in one scenario a user can 1) opt to see all of the regulatory changes that have occurred, even those that do not directly impact his/her review, or 2) see only the regulatory changes that have a direct relation to a "yes" answer within the review.
