-- ClaimAid, a leading provider of Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the Health Marketplace, and private program eligibility services for hospitals and patients, is celebrating 25 years of service to the health care industry. Since opening its doors, ClaimAid has been a trusted partner and compassionate advocate, providing eligibility services and claims resolution for uncompensated medical care expenses as well as School-Based Medicaid Billing services.
From the very start, ClaimAid wanted to be an industry leader in both patient advocacy and innovative client services. In an ever-changing, complex industry, ClaimAid continues to propel this same mission forward.
"It has been a pleasure having been a part of ClaimAid from the very beginning," says Steve Cooper, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at ClaimAid. "We have always made it our mission to provide comprehensive, customized solutions as well as provide a voice for the uninsured and underinsured when it comes to eligibility services. This same mindset is as important to us today as we continue to remain a reliable, consistent partner for the industry, our clients, patients and their families."
With over 34 years experience in the health care industry, Cooper helped co-found ClaimAid in 1988. He and his team began working with their first client shortly thereafter. Initially, they partnered with health care providers, such as hospitals, for billing and follow-up of Indiana Medicaid accounts. Soon, ClaimAid began assisting patients with their enrollments or coverage through the Indiana Medicaid Program and quickly became an industry leader in eligibility determination as well as billing and follow-up services. In 2004, ClaimAid embraced the Medicaid School-Based Billing Program, providing services and expertise with outstanding results.
In 2013, ClaimAid began offering assistance with Federal Social Security Disability appeals. By offering this new service line, they satisfied a need by filling in the federal gap to show their hospital and health care provider clients that they were willing to go that extra mile for its patients and their families. Today, by expanding its services to the federal level, ClaimAid can help patients and their families at every stage of the process from the initial application through all the different appeals. Whether they're applying for Social Security benefits or appealing their decision, ClaimAid is there to guide them and be their advocate at every level.
"The unparalleled focus of expertise and compassion we offer helps patients and their families find their way through the sometimes overwhelming process at every level," says Cooper. "Despite the many challenges in this industry, we've achieved many milestones along the way, while maintaining our mission of compassionate advocacy. The name, ClaimAid, reflects the high level to which our services have evolved and our values have remained in tact. From our employees and business partners to our vendors and clients, everyone has contributed to this success and to this incredible accomplishment of serving 25 years. We'd like to publicly thank each and every person who has been and who will continue to be dedicated to our vision and to making significant contributions for the next 25 years and beyond."
Founded in 1988, ClaimAid is a full-service eligibility and claims resolution provider for hospitals, patients and their families. In addition, they also work with Medicaid School-Based Billing Programs across the country.
