/Worldwide Who's Who/ -- Clint J. Thurmon, Vice President of Operations at National Conductor Constructors, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in electrical services.
With 14 years of overall experience, Mr. Thurmon is recognized for his expertise in high-voltage construction, organization and last but not least, people management. He has spent the past year of his professional career at National Conductor Constructors, a substation construction company. He is tasked with reviewing new projects, estimating construction costs, take off creation, contract review, engineering review, and assisting in creating EPC contracts. He is also responsible for safety book reviews, quality assurance and quality check reviews, AP and AR management, budget creation, budget reviews, changes in contracts, building company profiles, subcontractor contracts, negotiations, managing project managers and estimators, project book keeping, and union liaison. In a recent interview with Worldwide Who's Who, Mr. Thurmon gives insight into the details of his position, "I stay active in the marketing of the company with the marketing division, broadening the client pool that my company is approved to bid for. I also give oral presentations to large or small groups of clients to educate them about my company."
Mr. Thurmon attributes his success to being hard headed and hard working. He was taught "If you want something, go for it. If you see someone who has a position you want, find out what that position requires, and do it." He became involved in his profession because his family is in the business, and he learned more about it through their example.
Mr. Thurmon earned a diploma from Montgomery High School in 2001. He is a certified aluminum welder and is certified in high voltage grounding, OSHA, CPR, and First Aid. Additionally, Mr. Thurmon has professional training in high voltage safety awareness, power safety, and power house safety. Over the course of his career, he has received a number of industry related accolades, including being Two Years Accident Free.
