Being honored as an LVI fellow is an achievement I can be proud of because I have learned new techniques to help my patients.
COLUMBIA, SC, December 09, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Dentist Dr. Paul Hahn has earned certification as an LVI Fellow. This honor, bestowed by the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry, shows that he has completed Core I-VII of the LVI curriculum. This challenging sequence of courses is focused on restorative and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Hahn is one of only 8 LVI Fellows practicing in South Carolina.
Dr. Hahn is excited about his newest certification, "Being honored as an LVI fellow is an achievement I can be proud of. Not just because it's a rare distinction that few dentists achieve, but because I have learned new techniques for helping my patients. My goal has always been to strive for improving the quality of care I can deliver."
The seven courses in the LVI Core require a minimum of 278 hours to complete. They focus on neuromuscular dentistry and how to use restorative dentistry to help patients achieve a healthy, balanced bite. Neuromuscular dentistry is dentistry focused on the mouth as a system of interconnected components that depend on one another for healthy function. It also emphasizes the links between the mouth system and other body systems to help dentists treat symptoms of poor jaw function such as jaw pain, headaches, tinnitus or ringing in the ears, and more. To earn the honor of Fellow, a dentist must also pass a comprehensive exam.
The distinction of LVI Fellow shows a dedication to lifelong learning and a commitment to providing the highest quality aesthetic neuromuscular dentistry for patients.
