M.T. Cleaning Services Ltd. is a company which provides clients with janitorial and building property service. They offer industrial and commercial cleaning as well as looking after properties and performing maintenance work. Michael is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations.

During his educational career, he studied at Sir Sanford Fleming College. Mr. Thornton is a member of the Kinsmen Club of Lindsay. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys fishing, golfing and camping as well as coaching hockey.
