/24-7PressRelease/ -- Today Covente, LLC appointed Ms. Elzat Doolotova of Kyrgyzstan as Vice President of Sales worldwide. Also known as Liza, Ms. Doolotova is originally from the nation's capital of Bishkent, and is fluent in English, Russian, and Turkish. Liza is currently based in Istanbul, Turkey.
"With nearly 10 years' experience in sales, Liza is a perfect fit for our current operations in Turkey," said Dr. Bryan Christiansen, the company's president. "Other areas will later include Eastern Europe and the Middle East due to her foreign language skills and business experience in those regions," continued Dr. Christiansen.
Covente began a major manufacturing project in Bursa, Turkey in late 2008 after some lengthy discussions with the Turkish government regarding the introduction of higher profit-margin industries to the country to replace the ailing textile- and food-processing industries. Currently, the company is in negotiations with manufacturers in Bursa regarding satellite sub-assembly and wind power generator manufacturing. Other "green energy" projects are presently under consideration.
"We should remember that since Bursa is a major port in Turkey, shipping costs to many parts of the world are greatly reduced because of the accessibility of sea transport in a strategic part of the world" said Ms. Doolotova. "Therefore, the city competes well globally as a future technology manufacturing center," added Doolotova.
This most recent appointment at Covente, LLC follows soon after a Vice President of Marketing from Russia was chosen in May. Ms. Doolotova will work with Mr. Dmitry Kolganov to develop business with clients throughout Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Turkey.
