CriticalIllnessInsurance.ca now offers critical illness insurance that does not require completing a medical questionnaire. Now all Canadians age 18 to 60 can purchase $25,000 critical illness insurance without being denied, no matter their medical condition or family history. A Return of Premium rider is available for applicants 55 and under which repays 100% of policy premiums. CriticalIllnessInsurance.ca will initially offer Manulife Lifecheque Basic Critical Illness ("the Lifecheque Basic plan"), insurance in a fixed coverage amount of $25,000. Additional critical illness insurance plans will be added to the system as CriticalIllnessInsurance.ca finds suitable vendors and plans to offer its customers.

About Manulife Lifecheque Basic Critical Illness Insurance:
Manulife will cover the basic medical conditions cancer, stroke, heart attack, coronary bypass surgery and aortic surgery. The Lifecheque Basic plan has level premiums which renew on the 5 year anniversary (renewal rates will be level for each five year period). The plan is renewable to age 75. The Lifecheque Basic plan has a two year pre-existing condition clause and a 30 day wait period (90 for cancer). Although a medical questionnaire is not required, a Declaration of Good Health must be agreed to in order to purchase the Lifecheque Basic plan.
