Mr. Geiger possesses more than 15 years of professional experience in the information technology and life science industry, during which time he has thoroughly honed his expertise in operational and corporate finance, change management, and deal structuring. He utilizes his experience and expertise in his role with Kofax Limited, a listed company at Nasdaq and the London Stock Exchange, which is headquartered in Irvine California. Kofax Limited is a trusted provider of smart process applications that simplify the business critical First Mile of information-intensive customer interactions. Mr. Geiger serves as vice president of finance for the Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) region, through which generated around $100 million of a total of $266 million in the 2013 fiscal year. As a strategic and operational financial business adviser, he manages the day to day activity of the EMEA business and masterminds strategic corporate initiatives of the company. He oversees the EMEA financial department, including general administration, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, human resources and order fulfillment. He also has a technical advisory role at the corporate level. Over a period of nearly four years, Mr. Geiger headed the major corporate transition and consolidation from 18 national finance functions into an EMEA-wide shared services center. His further accomplishments include establishing a complete suite of best practices for financial and operational systems as well as several achievements on the corporate level with the most recent IPO to Nasdaq. To date, Mr. Geiger is working with a team of technical experts to convert the company from IFRS to US GAAP.

Mr. Geiger's unique background combines the world-class technical knowledge of a Certified Public Accountant and former Big 4 auditor with a proven track record of success in managing group and EMEA-level consolidated finance, accounting, and strategic finance initiatives and consulting services. He first encountered Kofax as a senior manager of Ernst & Young when it became a customer of his; he conducted corporate audits for the company, managing multinational audits teams across the globe reporting directly to the Audit Committee. Mr. Geiger believes his success stems from being very passionate about and being very committed to his work and his team. He also credits his strong leadership and communication skills, empathy, and ability to motivate, coach and mentor others.

In 2000, Mr. Geiger earned a Bachelor of Business Economics and Administration in accounting and information technology through FHNW. He went on to become a Certified Public Accountant in 2004. In August, Mr. Geiger will go for an international executive MBA with University of Zurich. Mr. Geiger was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, and also maintains affiliation with the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics. He plans to continue his career in the IT or Life Science Industry in the coming years and intends to eventually become a CFO or Corporate Controller.
