PHILADELPHIA, PA, July 8, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Danielle A. Lechette, a Buyer for SAP America, Inc. has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of capital equipment, field material and facilities purchasing.
Currently, Ms. Lechette is responsible for Global Facilities purchasing in the Global Purchasing Organization for SAP America, Inc. Previously, as a senior buyer for KBR, Inc., Ms. Lechette was responsible for buying capital equipment for capital projects, managing clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries, creating and maintaining the procurement plan, working with the project team and coordinating with the capital project leader. Previously, she served in the U.S. Air Force in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm from 1990 to 1992. After retiring from the military, she worked at Jacobs Engineering Group before joining KBR, Inc. She attributes her success to her hard work, education, military experience and being mentored.
Ms. Lechette is pursuing her MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management at Strayer University and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix in 2003. She is a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Philadelphia (PMAP), an affiliate of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). The recipient of several military awards, she has been honored with the Air Force Commendation Medal (1992), the Joint Service Achievement Medal (1991), the Air Force Achievement Medal (1991) and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal (1990). Ms. Lechette hopes to eventually attain a management position.
