    MUNDELEIN, IL, June 12, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ --Darlene Joan Cherry, Department Manager of the Fabrics and Needlework Department of Hobby Lobby Stores, Incorporated, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of retail management.

With 16 years in the retail industry, Ms. Cherry is recognized as an expert in fabrics, needlework and sewing. She assumed her current position at Hobby Lobby in 2008, bringing prior experience at Toys"R"Us, where she worked for 15 years. Her responsibilities as head of the fabrics and needlework department include supervising staff, managing floor presentations and ordering merchandise. Ms. Cherry attributes her success to hard work and conscientious application to the task at hand.

Ms. Cherry earned her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics in 1973 from Michigan State University. Prior to venturing into retail, she taught adult education for one year and home economics in Fort Myers, FL for one year. She enjoys traveling in her spare time.
