MONTREAL, QC, December 14, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Warren G. Flowers Gallery is the venue for the Vernissage of selected works from the graduating class of the evening Commercial Photography Program of Dawson College, on Tuesday December 17. The exhibition will be on view until December 20 and will feature work across several photographic genres including Architecture, Beauty, Editorial, Fashion, Food, and Portraiture.---
Studying a two-year, full time evening program, students acquire the necessary photographic skills and business acumen to succeed and thrive in today's challenging photographic industry. Emphasis is placed on practical study, culminating in a professional-level portfolio created under the guidance of educators who are active, commercial photographers, and formally evaluated by industry front-runners within our creative community.
Invited guests include industry professionals, potential clients, art and photography enthusiasts and those active and interested in our local vibrant arts community. The gallery expects to receive over 200 attendees on opening night.
The Vernissage will be held on December 17, 2013 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm.
Works will remain on display until December 20.
The exhibit is open to the public and admission is free.
