Prior to founding his business, he worked for PPG Industries for 12 years and US Filter for nine years, during which time he became motivated to enter into his current line of work. Mr. Duryea notes that perseverance and determination are the driving forces behind his success. The highlight of his career was establishing his own business.

Mr. Duryea earned his Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the American Water Works Association and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He stays current with the trends in his profession by reading various professional publications including Water Environment & Technology and the Keystone Water Quality Manager.
