As a retired colonel from the U.S. Airforce after 25 years of service, Mr. Rensel knew people who worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. in the communications and space industry and felt this was a natural progression for him. For the past decade, he has served this consulting firm as an associate, using his expertise in communications. He enjoys being in a position where he can continue to learn new things.
At Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. , Mr. Rensel supports air staff for clients and major space initiatives for defense, civil and intelligence community space organizations, and consults on spatial supply services. He also partners with clients, including NASA, the Air Force Space Command, Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Defense Information Systems Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. He attributes his success to his ability to work with talented individuals, and enjoy the diversity and novelty of each job assignment.
In 1980, Mr. Rensel completed a master's degree in digital signal processing from the U.S. Air Force and earned a JD from the Columbus School of Law of The Catholic University of America. He is a member of the Air Force Association, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association International, and IEEE. He also supports the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA. In five years, Mr. Rensel hopes to continue growing with the company in order to provide the best services possible for his clients.
