DETROIT, MI, March 16, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- They say truth is stranger than fiction, and Indie filmmaker Alan "Al Profit" Bradley proves that old saying true with his new movie "The Ghost of Saint Aubin". Shot entirely on location in Detroit, the film recently scored national distribution through Green Apple Entertainment.

Saint Aubin is one of Detroit Michigan's oldest streets-and the site of some of the city's bloodiest crimes. "The Ghost of Saint Aubin" weaves incredible true events on Saint Aubin street from the 1800s, 1920s, and 1990s into a fictional tale of love, murder, and obsession that spans three centuries.

The film's cast is a who's-who of Detroit's theatre scene; male co-stars Brian Marable and Lynch Travis are staples at Jeff Daniels' world-famous Purple Rose theatre; female lead Ashlee McLemore, who plays the ghostly Nicole Saint Aubin, is a veteran of the hit movie Sparkle and TV cop-drama Detroit 187.

The director of the film, Alan "Al Profit" Bradley, has developed a cult-like following in the Detroit area for his series of documentaries detailing crime and gangsters in the Motor City. Bradley came to movie making via a strange route- he holds degrees in Economics from the University of Michigan and Wayne State; he also takes writing and leading man credits in his directorial debut.

"The Ghost of Saint Aubin" has taken a cutting edge approach to distribution, leveraging new technology to make the film available for streaming rental on the website http://www.SaintAubinMovie.com The film is also available at Netflix, Blockbuster, Wal-Mart, Amazon, and on Facebook at /SaintAubinMovie.

"The Ghost of Saint Aubin" was produced by Studio August & Hellenic Empire
