BALTIMORE, MD, December 23, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Diane Dennard, Field Supervisor II with the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, Division of Parole and Probation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of public safety.

Ms. Dennard has an impressive 34 years of professional experience as a parole and probation agent and as a field supervisor with the Maryland Division of Parole and Probation where she supervises employees and oversees criminal justice law enforcement. During her public safety career, Ms. Dennard received extensive training and was reassigned to the Internal Investigative Unit for a short period where she conducted interviews and investigations into questionable activities and complaints, both internal and external, for the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Ms. Dennard received her Master's Degree in Business Management from Morgan State University in 1981 and was inducted into the Alpha Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha. She is co-chair of the Sex Offender Containment Team (SOCT) working in close collaboration with the local police department and Sex Offender Unit, and a Division of Parole and Probation representative for The High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) program. Ms. Dennard attributes her success to hard work and dedication and finds the most rewarding aspect of her work to be her ability to make a positive difference in someone's life.
