The Servants Anonymous Society, founded ten years ago, was set up to help sexually exploited young women get their lives back on track by providing secure housing and teaching them life skills. Servants Anonymous ASK Centre for Learning is designed to provide each participant with an opportunity to learn the personal and occupational skills required to help them obtain and maintain employment, return to school, and/or raise their children on a full-time basis.
The Servants Anonymous Society is doing phenomenal work with these young women, many of whom come from very troubled backgrounds, Peter Ruetz, owner of DirectBuy of Greater Vancouver. While the retail value of the washer/dryer we donated is about $1800, you really can t put a dollar value on helping a person get their life back and that s really what they do at Servants Anonymous.
