The Mphaphati people are driven to give greater opportunities to their children. Of course, education is imperative for these children, and Swazi Trails donated over 80 000.00 ZAR to the local community this past week. The funds have been donated by river-rafting enthusiasts. These funds are integral to uplifting each child's spirit and inner confidence, as an improved school will only help to encourage these young learners to continue the path of education later.
"The school is the one place that joins our whole community," explains Head Teacher Mrs Busi Lukhele, "as children from almost every homestead pass through here. We are grateful for the help that Swazi Trails and their tourists have brought; otherwise there is no-one else that can assist us." The community plan to use the funds most carefully and they have a detailed list of important projects for the school and its valuable teachers.
