    GRAND RAPIDS, MN, June 5, 2009 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Dorinne Olga Peratalo, Medical Technologist at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of medical services.

With 31 years of experience as a medical technologist at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, Ms. Peratalo specializes in laboratory management, hematology and chemistry. On a daily basis, she is responsible for working in the hospital laboratory, seeing patients and drawing blood. She was interested in becoming a medical technologist since ninth grade and attributes her success to her hard work, passion for her profession, dedication and loyalty.

Ms. Peratalo received her Bachelor's Degree in Natural Science and Medical Technology from Eastern Mennonite College (now Eastern Mennonite University) in 1970. She is a member of the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the National Pharmacy Technician Association and Phi Theta Kappa. She hopes to one day work at a pharmacy and continue working in the laboratory.
